After a heavy rainstorm, the newly laid wooden flooring and many items including the furniture placed on the floor were damaged by the water entered through the balcony. He was anxious about paying a huge sum of money to make good all the damaged properties and how to settle the newborn baby when the repair works were in progress.

He called our Claims Services Department immediately. Our claims staff advised him on the claims procedure and reminded him that he was entitled to the benefit under the Alternative Accommodation Extension.

Mr. Wong submitted all supporting documents to Claims Services Department. The claims staff then proceeded claim adjustment in accordance with the policy terms and conditions. Mr. Wong accepted our proposed adjustment and the case was settled shortly.
