I'm Clement Tang. I joined HSBC Insurance in March 2008 as Senior Manager of the Claims Services department. HSBC Insurance is a global organisation that has been well recognised for its professionalism and quality services. With the wide spectrum of products on offer, including Life Insurance, General Insurance and Pension Services, there are ample opportunities for me to learn and prosper with the Company. It's obvious to me that Bancassurance will flourish for many years to come, so I had been looking for an opportunity to join the Company for quite some time. Finally, I'm lucky enough to be a part of this big family!

As the Senior Manager of the Claims Services department, my key responsibilities include the daily supervision of our Non-Life Insurance claims operation. In addition to this, I have to monitor the overall performance of the team to ensure we are delivering the committed level of services. Sometimes, I also need to participate in projects and initiatives that are claims-related. Some of these projects involve colleagues from around the world. This has provided me with many opportunities to understand different operations within the Group and to expand my network.

In terms of training and development, I have the chance to attend numerous training courses that benefit my personal development. There's a wide variety of courses available to enhance my skills and knowledge. On some occasions, my superior even nominates me to attend a course that is relevant to my development. This always impresses me, because it's proof that HSBC Insurance is dedicated to developing its staff. Together with the great support from my superior and team members, I am very pleased to work at HSBC Insurance.
