The function is committed to building a sustainable business for our stakeholders. In order to achieve this, our transactions, advisory, compliance and risk management teams work to ensure the following:
- We understand the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business, we have in place policies and procedures to comply with the spirit and letter of those laws and regulations, and we protect our business in the areas of legal and compliance risk through the provision of timely, accurate, and commercially sound guidance and advice; and
- We understand and manage the risks that face our business through a disciplined risk management process that ensures all major risks are identified, assessed, recorded, mitigated and managed within defined risk appetites.
