Management Trainee Programme


Management Trainee (MT) Programme is designed to develop talented young graduates to become insurance professionals and specialists to support HSBC Insurance aggressive expansion in the region, and ensure sustainability and continuous success.


Programme Details
2-3 years duration with structured development experience to help graduates acquire both management competencies and technical experience
A fast-track career progression to junior management position upon completion of the Programme, depending on business needs, individual performance and potential
Job attachments in various insurance business or function areas, such as Personal Insurance, Corporate Insurance and Pension Business, Operations, Finance, Actuarial and other functional areas
Intensive technical and management training to equip trainees with both insurance technical know-how and management competencies
Ongoing one-on-one mentoring with senior management to share experience and HR mentorship meetings to provide guidance & support
Typical Career Map for Management Trainees
Requirements
Possess right of abode in the applying country
Possess a Second Upper Honours Degree, preferably in business or insurance studies
Keen interest in developing an insurance-specific career
High mobility to different geographic locations
Sensitive to environment with multi-cultural setting
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. An additional Asian language or dialect will be a definite advantage
Prior overseas exposure highly preferable
Strong personal drive, analytical and problem-solving ability and adaptability
Proven commitment to managing own career and making a positive difference
